My cornerstone

Thou art indeed the basis of my being

for which without I am nothing, lifeless, just nothing.

Thou art indeed my solid foundation. The essence of my being and the only reason for my existence. The rock on which I have built my hopes, my faith, my love  my dreams and everything I hold dear to me. 

Thou art my refuge in time of distress and the protector of my loved ones and everyone I hold dear to my heart. 

Thou art the owner of my life and the one who giveth me life, and Thou can take it when it pleases Thee. 

Oh Lord what am I without you? I am absolutely nothing. 

Who am I without Thee?  I am absolutely no one. 

Yet thou loves me so much and showers a miserable sinner like me , with blessings I could never deserve. 

Thou art my cornerstone, the foundation of my building. 

The solid foundation on which I have set my house. 

The root of my soul’s creation.

Thou art my cornerstone, Christ Alone.

Inspired from Cornerstone – Hillsong and the Hymn Christ is my rock my refuge my stronghold.

Today I am a little down. What do you do when you’re down? Definitely do not make any important decisions. Go to God, family or a trusted friend.
